Purchaser

  • Contacts Loan Officer for financing information
  • Meets with Loan Officer and provides info needed for application/pre-approval letter
  • Starts looking for a new home with Realtor
  • Writes offer with Realtor and, once accepted, schedules home inspections
  • Contacts Home Owner’s Insurance Agent for quote and starts application

Loan Officer

  • Discusses qualifying, monthly payments, and cash needed for closing
  • Explains various loan programs available and quotes interest rates
  • Assists you in completing the loan application
  • Orders the appraisal
  • Lends the team to ensure excellent customer service

Client Relations Coordinator & Loan Processor

  • Communicates with you on items necessary for your loans closing
  • Pre-underwrites and prepares loan for approval
  • Works with all parties

Underwriter

  • Renders final decision on your loan
  • Requests additional documentation if needed
  • Works directly with Loan Officer and Processor to approve your loan

Funding

  • Assembles package for your closing day
  • Sends package to Closing Agent’s office

Closing Attorney

  • Prepares Settlement Statement and e-mails it to the Processor for review
  • Loan Officer contacts you to review the settlement figures and cash for closing 24 hours prior to closing
  • Client Relations Coordinator e-mails Settlement Statement to all parties 24 hours prior to closing

Closing

  • Takes place at Lender’s, Closing Agent’s or Realtor’s office, or other location acceptable to all parties
  • Bring a certified check to closing (payable to title company)
  • Bring picture ID such as a driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.
  • CONGRATULATIONS on your new home!
